The Khashamongo guest house is located in Somerset West in the immediate vicinity of Cape Town and offers a magnificent view of the Helderberg and Hottentotts Mountains towards the Winelands.

The name "Khashamongo" has its origin in the Zulu language and means "peaceful home".

Our accommodation offers all the amenities of a bed and breakfast and serves a varied breakfast under the beautiful lapa.
Traditional braai evenings are regularly organized by the hostel father.

The crystal-clear heated pool is 2.20 m deep in places, ideal for swimming or cooling down. It is accessible from the beginning of October until the end of May.

Deck chairs and a hammock are available for sunbathing or a good book in the shade of the palm trees.

☺ Amazing relaxing garden with pool. Large German style breakfast. Safe area. For runners, good grass area opposite house and in neighbourhood. Warm welcome from Tino, Anja, Mavis, Bullet the cat and the tortoise . Great restaurants nearby, only 10 minutes to the beach

☺ Tino and Anja are amazing welcoming hosts, thoughtful and excellent.
